What's included in the seat count?
Every active member of your tenant — students, teachers, admins, owners — counts toward the seat cap. Starter includes 25 seats, Business includes 100. Going above the cap costs €3 per extra seat per month, charged automatically via Stripe metered billing.
Can I bring my own custom domain?
Subdomain branding (<your-slug>.app.studyflow.courses) is included on all plans. Custom apex domains (e.g. learn.your-school.com) are available on request — contact us at info@studyflow.courses.
How is StudyFlow different from a generic LMS?
StudyFlow is purpose-built for AI-driven exam preparation, not course delivery. Students upload their own materials and StudyFlow generates structured chapter summaries, Bloom's-taxonomy exam questions, personalized study plans and adaptive quizzes — automatically. It complements a Canvas / Moodle / Brightspace LMS rather than replacing it.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
Your tenant is suspended immediately on cancellation, with a 90-day grace window during which you can reactivate by resuming the Stripe subscription. After 90 days, all tenant data is permanently deleted. Fully GDPR compliant.
Yes! The free plan lets you upload up to two courses and get full AI summaries, study plans, quizzes and website import — no credit card required. Free AI use is bounded by monthly feature buckets. Camera scan and scanned-PDF OCR are available on Pro and Premium.
What file types can I upload?
On every plan you can upload text-based PDFs, import from public website URLs, or generate a custom course from a topic. Camera scan of physical pages and OCR for scanned PDFs are available on Pro and Premium. Free usage is bounded by monthly AI buckets; paid plans add more processing headroom.
How accurate are the AI summaries?
StudyFlow uses Claude, Anthropic's most capable AI model, to generate summaries. It processes your PDF chapter by chapter — distinguishing main topics from secondary details — and produces structured output aligned to Bloom's taxonomy. We recommend a quick verification against the original material as a final check.
Can I cancel my Pro subscription anytime?
Yes, absolutely. Cancel at any time from your account settings and keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
Is my data private and secure?
Your materials are stored securely on encrypted cloud infrastructure. We never share your data with third parties. StudyFlow is fully GDPR compliant.
Does it work for high school students?
Absolutely. StudyFlow works for any level — secondary school (ASO, VWO, Gymnasium), university, professional certifications or self-study. The AI adapts to the difficulty of your material.
Which languages does StudyFlow support for course content?
StudyFlow processes course materials in English, Dutch, French, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish and Arabic. You can also choose a different output language — for example upload a Dutch course and receive summaries in Spanish.
Can StudyFlow generate flashcards from my PDF?
Yes! StudyFlow is an AI flashcard generator — upload your PDF and export study materials as flashcards to Anki, Brainscape or RemNote. Pro and Premium users can also turn handwritten notes into flashcards using the camera scan feature.
How long does it take to process a course?
Most PDFs (up to 200 pages) are fully processed within 1–3 minutes. A typical 80-page university syllabus takes about 90 seconds. Chapter summaries, exam questions and a study plan appear as soon as processing is complete.
Can I use StudyFlow on my phone?
Yes. StudyFlow is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — it works in any mobile browser and can be added to your home screen for an app-like experience, no download required.
How do study groups work?
Create a group from your dashboard, share the invite link or code with classmates, and everyone can access the same shared courses. You can run group quizzes and track each member's progress.
Is StudyFlow suitable for Belgian university students?
Yes! StudyFlow is widely used by students at KU Leuven, UGent, UCLouvain, VUB, ULiège and other Belgian universities. It handles Dutch, French and English course materials equally well.
Can teachers or professors use StudyFlow?
Yes. Teachers can create a group, upload course material, and have students join — making it easy to distribute AI-generated study resources to an entire class.
