Getting Started

Upload your first course and be exam-ready in under 5 minutes. No experience needed.

1

Create your free account

Go to app.studyflow.courses and sign up with Google, Microsoft or your email address. No credit card required — the free plan is available immediately.

Tip: Use your university or school email address so you can easily find classmates when you create a study group later.
2

Upload your course PDF

On the dashboard, click Upload PDF and select your course file. StudyFlow accepts PDF files up to 50 MB. Scanned documents work too — the AI can read most scanned text.

What works best:

  • Digitally created PDFs (clearest results)
  • Scanned lecture notes (good results)
  • Handwritten notes scanned at high resolution
  • University syllabuses and course books
3

Review your AI-generated summaries

Within 1–3 minutes, StudyFlow generates chapter-by-chapter summaries distinguishing main topics (yellow) from secondary details (green). You can download a highlighted PDF version at any time.

Important: AI summaries are excellent starting points, but always cross-reference with your original material — especially for facts, formulas and definitions.
4

Generate exam questions

Click Generate Questions to get exam-style questions per chapter. Questions are aligned to Bloom's taxonomy — from straightforward recall all the way to analysis and synthesis. Free users get 4 exam + 1 discussion question per chapter; paid plans unlock 8 exam + 5 discussion questions.

Remember

Define, list, name — foundational recall

Apply

Use concepts in a new context or scenario

Analyse

Break down, compare, evaluate — higher order

5

Build your study plan

Click Study Plan and enter your exam date and how many hours per day you can study. StudyFlow creates a realistic day-by-day schedule covering all chapters before your exam.

Tip: Be honest about your daily availability — building in rest days leads to better results than overpacking every evening.
6

Take your first quiz

Click Quiz to start an adaptive mini-exam. The algorithm mixes new questions with previously answered ones using spaced repetition — so nothing gets forgotten. Aim for at least one quiz session per study day.
